At eBikesfortykes, we believe you should have the right to maintain and repair your own equipment. Our Self-Service Repair program provides you with access to genuine replacement parts, specific proprietary tools, and official repair manuals so you can keep your e-bike on the road longer.

How It Works

  • Step 1: Review the Manual. Before ordering parts, please locate your specific e-bike model in our Help Center and read the required repair manual thoroughly.
  • Step 2: Order Genuine Parts. Purchase OEM components directly from our store. We offer replacement displays, controllers, brake pads, tires, and wiring harnesses.
  • Step 3: Perform the Repair. Follow the step-by-step instructions. If you hit a roadblock, our support team is available to offer technical advice.

⚠️ Critical Battery Safety Warning

E-bikes utilize high-voltage lithium-ion battery packs. We strictly prohibit self-service repairs on the battery pack or motor casing. Opening these components poses a severe risk of electric shock, fire, and catastrophic failure. If your battery or motor is experiencing issues, please contact support for a warranty replacement or professional servicing.

Warranty Implications

Choosing to repair your e-bike yourself does not automatically void your 1-year eBikesfortykes warranty. However, please note that any damage caused to the bike during your repair attempt (e.g., stripping a bolt, severing a wire, or improperly installing a component) will not be covered under our warranty terms.
