At eBikesfortykes, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our electric bikes. Every new e-bike purchased directly from us is covered by our comprehensive 1-Year Limited Warranty, ensuring you can ride with peace of mind.

1-Year Limited Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies only to the original owner of an eBikesfortykes e-bike and is not transferable. The warranty goes into effect on the date of delivery and covers the following components against manufacturing defects:

• The Frame: Covered against structural defects in material and workmanship.
• The Battery: Covered against catastrophic failure. Note: All lithium-ion batteries naturally lose capacity over time. A gradual decrease in battery capacity is not considered a defect unless it drops below 60% of its original capacity within the first year.
• Electrical Components: The motor, controller, LCD display, and wiring harnesses are covered against operational failure due to manufacturing defects.

What Is NOT Covered?

This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

• Normal Wear and Tear: Components expected to wear down during normal use are not covered. This includes tires, tubes, brake pads, brake cables, chains, sprockets, and grips.
• Improper Assembly or Maintenance: Damage caused by failing to follow the assembly instructions or lack of regular maintenance.
• Misuse and Accidents: Damage from crashes, extreme off-road use, jumping, stunts, or carrying loads beyond the specified weight limit.
• Water Damage: While our e-bikes are water-resistant and safe for light rain, they are not waterproof. Damage caused by submerging the bike in water, high-pressure washing, or leaving it exposed to heavy elements is not covered.
• Unauthorized Modifications: Any alterations to the frame, electrical system, or installing third-party parts not approved by eBikesfortykes will void the warranty.

How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your e-bike has a warranty issue, please contact our support team immediately. We will require:

• Your original order number or proof of purchase.
• A detailed description of the issue.
• Clear photos or a short video showing the defect.

Once approved, eBikesfortykes will, at our sole discretion, either send a replacement part free of charge or authorize a repair.
